  • How about a summary version of case manager being available - showing the key stages of a client's case in most if not all of our disciplines across the firm. Client could view, via their phone with this facility, the curent stage of any of their matters, be it their purchase, remortgage or employment matter. We could show that we are comfortable with the transparency of that facility due to the excellent prompt service that we provide we are able to offer the ability for the client to see what we have done for them at any given time. The Breeze app.

  • Got just a few ideas
    1) Redundancy Pay calculator
    2) Maternity Pay calculator and Paternity Pay Calculator.
    3) Will Writer
    4) Divorce App - something along the lines of our on line divorce service.
    5) General advice apps - eg divorce, finances, children, probate, employment (redundancy, unfair dismissal, maternity rights) showing summary of law and procedure.
    6) House purchase calculator - calculates stamp duty, land registry and search fees and quick link to request free quote on legal fees.
    7) Public Funding Eligibility Calculator.
    8) Account Summary - Shows clients bills to date and current work in progress to assist clients in budgeting.

All above, can have quick links in for quotations and to request appointments.

  • one more idea would be a my property chain app. This would require all solicitors on the property chain to log in and update and could cover steps up to exchange such as searches, contracts, mortgage offer. with tick boxes to say simply whether done or awaited. The idea being that once all boxes are ticked the client can be automatically alerted that it is ready to exchange and the app could also allow the respective purchasers to agree a completion date between them. Client confidentiality can be protected in that names and property addresses do not need to be visible and by agreeing to use the app, the clients are giving permission for information (such as whether they have a mortgage offer yet) to be viewed by other purchasers in the chain.
